Kyrgyzstan will soon start supplying its products to Russia in the framework of the "Eurasian AgroExpress" program, agreements on which will be signed on Thursday in Bishkek during the first Eurasian Economic Forum, Mikhail Myasnikovich, chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, said in the capital of Kyrgyzstan during the opening ceremony of the event.
"The first tons of products will be delivered from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan to the Russian Federation in the coming days following today's signing of agreements under the "Eurasian AgroExpress program"," he said.
According to him, a total of 17 contracts and cooperation programs, including the "Eurasian AgroExpress," are planned to be signed during the forum, which will bring real "practical results".
Myasnikovich urged the participants of the meeting in Bishkek to actively discuss the issues on the agenda, which ultimately will lead to strengthening of integration processes in the Eurasian Economic Union.
About 2.5 thousand representatives of government agencies and businesses from 25 countries are taking part in the first Eurasian Economic Forum in Bishkek. Six discussion platforms are working within the event. As expected, ten agreements and memorandums on cooperation of non-commercial nature will be signed after the meeting.
