Around 130 agreements, including 75 international ones, were signed at the international economic forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum," with a total value exceeding 1 billion rubles. The announcement was made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
"KazanForum is growing stronger every year. This year, the program featured more than 200 events, including 148 business sessions with 990 speakers. The forum achieved record-breaking results: 130 agreements and memoranda were signed, including 75 international ones, totaling over 1 billion rubles," Khusnullin stated, according to the Russian government’s press service.
In 2025, the forum welcomed participants from 96 countries and 82 regions of Russia. Key topics included digitalization of relations between Russia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries, international cooperation, real estate exhibitions and conferences, sports, the halal industry, Islamic finance and investment, tourism, culture, women’s perspectives, business, the economy, workforce development, science and technology, and media activities.
One of the central events was a session of the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia – Islamic World," chaired by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and head of the group. The meeting focused on youth policy and humanitarian cooperation.
The forum also hosted the Russia Halal Expo, the largest exhibition in Russia for economic and scientific-technological cooperation between Russian regions and OIC countries. The exhibition featured 54 booths from 12 countries.
Additionally, the International Property Market (IPM 2025) real estate exhibition was held, aimed at strengthening international ties and cooperation with investors from various countries. The IPM covered over 1,000 square meters and included 57 companies, among them 29 developers and construction firms, with exhibitors from the UAE, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.
