More than 28,000 sanctions have been imposed on Russia—a number exceeding all sanctions placed on the rest of the world combined, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
"It seems even the initiators of these sanctions have lost count of how many restrictions they've introduced and against whom," Putin remarked.
According to Russia’s Ministry of Finance, the total number of sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities has reached 28,595, Putin revealed.
"This is significantly higher than the total sanctions imposed on all other countries combined," he emphasized.
