Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk and Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin held discussions focused on enhancing trade and economic cooperation, with a particular emphasis on agriculture, transportation, and logistics. The outcomes of these talks were detailed in a statement published on the Russian government's Telegram channel.
"During the negotiations, the parties discussed trade and economic cooperation of mutual interest between Russia and Kazakhstan, focusing on promising areas of bilateral collaboration. Special attention was devoted to sectors such as agriculture, transportation, and logistics," stated the government.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation also emphasized that "the parties confirmed their readiness to continue a constructive dialogue in all areas of cooperation between the countries."
The event was conducted in videoconference mode.
