Russia and Saudi Arabia are discussing agricultural cooperation, specifically the increase of Russian grain and meat supplies, stated Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
“Today we discussed increasing supplies from Russia of both grain and meat products, boosting the production of halal products and processed goods that would be in demand here in Saudi Arabia,” he said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
The deputy prime minister added that trade turnover between the two countries has grown tenfold over the past decade. “And we see significant prospects for its further increase,” he noted.
Furthermore, according to Novak, the countries discussed cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital solutions, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, industry, and education.
