Russia and Sudan have signed a memorandum to expand cooperation in developing transport infrastructure, maritime and land routes, and improving transit corridors, according to the Russian Ministry of Transport following the eighth session of the Russia-Sudan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The memorandum was signed by Dmitry Zverev, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, and Hussein El-Amin El-Fadel, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sudan.
The document aims to broaden cooperation in transport infrastructure development, optimize maritime and land routes, and enhance transit corridors.
Key cooperation areas include exchanging expertise, coordinating work among competent authorities, and creating conditions for joint logistics projects.
