Russian Ambassador in Astana: Kazakhstan Interested in EU Oil Deliveries via Russia

30 March

Kazakhstan remains keen on extending the transit of its oil to the European Union through the Druzhba ("Friendship") pipeline via Russian territory, according to Russian Ambassador to Astana Aleksey Borodavkin.

In an interview with Izvestia, the diplomat noted that while Kazakhstan is interested in using this export route, current disruptions caused by the actions of the Kyiv regime have made it unfeasible for the time being.

"Once the pipeline is operational again, we are confident that our Kazakh friends will take advantage of it," Borodavkin stated.
