Russian Ambassador: Pakistan Seeks Partnership in Oil Exploration and Production

Pakistan is interested in collaborating with Russia on oil exploration and production, as Islamabad looks to bolster its domestic energy sector. In an interview with TASS, the Russian Ambassador to Pakistan, Albert Khorev, confirmed that Moscow is prepared to support the Islamic Republic in strengthening its energy sovereignty.


"Developing its own fuel and energy complex is a top priority for Islamabad," the ambassador stated. "Pakistan is indeed showing a keen interest in partnering with Russia for the exploration and extraction of oil. Our country stands ready to assist the Islamic Republic in strengthening its energy sovereignty."
