Chambers of commerce and industry of Russia and Uzbekistan are planning to create a mechanism of pre-departure training for migrants with the participation of Russian employers. An agreement on this was signed on Tuesday in Moscow by Sergey Katyrin, head of the Russian CCI, Adham Ikramov, chairman of the Uzbek CCI, and Nozim Khusanov, minister of employment and labor relations of Uzbekistan, a TASS correspondent reports from the scene.
"Development of a mechanism for the participation of employers' associations and individual employers in pre-departure training of workers to ensure its quality control," reads the description of the areas of cooperation stipulated by the agreement. A copy of the document is available to TASS.
As clarified by the CCI RF, the proposed mechanism may include support and supervision of training and certification, teaching the Russian language and the basics of law, as well as confirming the willingness of candidates to work on the specified employer.
In addition, the parties agreed to develop a mechanism of video interviews with the opportunity for workers to briefly demonstrate their job skills, as well as to accompany employers and employees in the process of organized recruitment.
Other areas of cooperation include "analysis of current migration and labor legislation, law enforcement and judicial practice of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan," "monitoring of labor migration and organized recruitment processes, including the needs of Russian employers in foreign labor resources in the regional and qualification context," "introduction of modern digital technologies and information and technical means in the field of labor migration" and "development of human resources capacity of specialists in the field of labor migration".
