03 September

Russian food and beverage producers are showcasing their products at the international exhibition World Food Istanbul 2024, which recently opened in Istanbul. The national pavilion, branded “Made in Russia,” features a diverse array of food and beverages, ranging from handmade candies to non-alcoholic beer.

“The Made in Russia exposition is making its second appearance at World Food Istanbul and promises to be one of the most prominent at the exhibition. It features 36 top Russian producers offering a wide range of products, including grains, ready-to-eat foods, beverages, confectionery, food ingredients, as well as packaging and equipment for the food industry. The stand highlights handmade cheese candies, Siberian cedar products, non-alcoholic beer and kvass, various food ingredients, and equipment for smoking meat and fish,” the Russian Export Center (REC), part of VEB.RF and the organizer of the Russian pavilion, told TASS.

The REC is facilitating business meetings with Turkish partners for the participating Russian companies. Over 150 B2B meetings are scheduled during the exhibition, providing an opportunity for Russian and Turkish companies to establish contacts and explore potential collaborations.

World Food Istanbul, which has been held for over 30 years, attracts approximately 1,500 representatives from various countries and runs from September 3 to 6. In 2023, the exhibition drew over 60,000 visitors.
