The Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia plans to open representative offices in the Middle East. This was announced by the head of the FCS, Valery Pikalyev, during an expanded meeting of the FCS board.
"We are working on cooperation with friendly countries with our foreign colleagues, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance of Russia. The issue of opening our representative offices in the Middle East – in the United Arab Emirates, in North Africa – in Tunisia and Egypt, and Southeast Asia – in Vietnam," said Pikalyev.
He also mentioned that the agency plans to send representatives of the FCS to Iran in the near future.
