TATNEFT is set to join the project for the development of Azerbaijan's historic Bibi-Eybat oil field, collaborating with Azerbaijan's state oil company, SOCAR. This announcement was made by Nail Maganov, Head of TATNEFT, during the "Dialogue on Equals" event at the V International Oil and Gas Youth Forum in Almetyevsk.
"We have very close cooperation with SOCAR. We are now entering the Bibi-Eybat field, where, together with our colleagues from SOCAR, we will be engaged in implementing our available technologies," Maganov stated, highlighting the significance of Bibi-Eybat as one of Azerbaijan's oldest oil fields.
Maganov also mentioned TATNEFT's collaboration with SOCAR in Turkey, focusing on petrochemical development and refinery reconstruction. "We are working on these topics with our colleagues with pleasure," he added, emphasizing the positive and cooperative relationship between the companies.
