Starting June 1, 2025, the customs authorities of Uzbekistan and Russia will streamline customs procedures for companies granted the status of Authorized Economic Operators (AEOs). The announcement was made by Uzbekistan’s State Customs Committee.
“Authorized Economic Operators are trusted companies engaged in import and export activities that are eligible for simplified customs procedures,” the statement reads. “Currently, 66 entities are registered with AEO status.”
According to the committee, these companies will receive priority processing for customs operations, inspections and examinations will be conducted with minimal delays, and documentary and physical checks will be limited in scope based on risk management criteria.
