Apty Alaudinov, Deputy Head of the Main Military and Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the Akhmat special forces, stated that Russia has reached a higher level of development since the beginning of the Special Military Operation (SMO).
In a video shared on his Telegram channel, Alaudinov congratulated the Russian people after the recent regional elections.
“I would like to congratulate all of Russia for holding elections for regional leaders today. I personally know many of them, and from the bottom of my heart, I congratulate them on their victories. Most importantly, I would like to congratulate [Andrei] Turchak, [Alexander] Osipov, [Alexander] Beglov, and [Vladimir] Vladimirov. The elections were conducted without any major incidents or emergencies, and people showed up to vote. Whatever the results may be, the important thing is that people did not remain indifferent. This demonstrates that Russia is now at a different level of development than at the beginning of the SMO. We need more unity, more love for one another, and we must do everything to stay united,” he said.
From September 6-8, nearly 4,000 elections were held at all levels across most Russian regions. In 21 regions, direct elections for heads of constituent entities took place, while in four regions—Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (Yugra), and Crimea—their leaders were elected by parliaments. Elections for legislative assemblies were held in 13 regions, and by-elections to the State Duma took place in three single-mandate districts.
