Kremlin Confident US Will Continue Supporting Ukraine Despite Settlement Ideas

22 July

The Kremlin expects that the United States will continue to support Ukraine while increasingly shifting the financial burden onto Europe. This approach will prolong the conflict but will not affect its outcome, according to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Of course, the US will continue this assistance one way or another; it's obvious. But they will try to burden their European subordinates more financially, a trend that is also well traced," Peskov stated when asked whether the current White House administration would maintain its support for Kiev in the coming months.

Peskov emphasized that Washington's actions do not contribute to settling the conflict over Ukraine but rather lead to its prolongation. "This cannot in any way affect the outcome [of the special military operation]," he noted.
