Lavrov: More Brutality in Arab World Expected Until Establishment of Palestinian State

23 January

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in an interview with CBS television, expressed his belief that an increase in brutality will continue to happen in the Arab and Muslim world until a Palestinian state is established.

"This is not a prophecy, but I am convinced that until there is justice, until a Palestinian state is established, more and more cruelty will arise from time to time in Palestine or another part of the Arab and Muslim world," Lavrov stated during the interview.

The Russian foreign minister highlighted that he sees no justification for the "barbarism of October 7" and emphasized that such incidents will lead to recurring anger, with successive generations feeling rejected and deceived.
