On February 1, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will convene a working breakfast with ambassadors of CIS member states accredited in Russia, where he will outline the priorities of the Russian presidency in the Commonwealth for the coming year, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told during a briefing.
"On February 1, the traditional working breakfast of the Russian foreign minister with the ambassadors of the CIS member states accredited in our country will be held in Moscow. As anticipated, during the meeting, the foreign minister of our country will share his views on key international and regional issues, summarize the achievements of multifaceted cooperation within the Commonwealth in 2023, and outline the priorities of Russia's presidency in the organization this year," Zakharova stated.
Earlier, CIS Secretary-General Sergei Lebedev had mentioned that Russia was highly active in the presidency of the Commonwealth.
