Putin and Mirziyoyev Emphasize Inadmissibility of Undermining Universally Recognized World Order

27 May

Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan have jointly stressed the inadmissibility of actions that undermine the universally recognized world order based on international law. This principle was highlighted in a statement issued following Putin's state visit to Uzbekistan.

"The sides noted the growing dynamics of the ongoing global changes, the clearly emerging contours of a polycentric world order, and the prospects for the democratization of international relations. The inadmissibility of undermining the universally recognized world order based on international law was emphasized," the statement reads.

The leaders underscored the alignment of their positions on numerous international issues, including the formation of a multipolar world order and the enhancement of regional and global security. They reaffirmed their commitment to resolving regional and international conflicts through peaceful political and diplomatic means, grounded in the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law.
