Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his regret regarding the escalation of the situation in Israel, describing it as a clear illustration of the failure in US policy in the Middle East. He highlighted that his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani is occurring within the context of ongoing global crises.
"The Ukrainian crisis persists, and regrettably, we are witnessing a significant escalation of tensions in the Middle East. It is my belief, and I think many would agree, that this serves as a clear illustration of the failure in the United States' policy in the Middle East. They sought to monopolize the resolution process but, unfortunately, showed little concern for achieving mutually acceptable compromises. Instead, they pushed their own vision, exerted pressure on both sides," Putin stated.
