Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting to discuss improving migration policy on the evening of June 13, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced to reporters.
"The president is scheduled to hold a meeting on measures to improve state migration policy this evening," the Kremlin spokesman said. He noted that the exact start time of the event is still uncertain.
"Recently in St. Petersburg, the president emphasized the need to address this issue systematically and urgently," Peskov recalled. "This meeting represents one of the steps being taken in that direction. A detailed discussion on migration affairs will be held today," the spokesman added, mentioning that the president's opening speech will be open to the media.
