Following the events in Makhachkala, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to convene a large meeting today around 19:00 Moscow time. The discussion will be thorough and in-depth," explained the Kremlin spokesman.

As Peskov emphasized, the event will be held in person. According to him, Putin will deliver an opening address, and afterward, the meeting is expected to continue in a closed session.

The gathering will witness the participation of the entire leadership of the country, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Rosgvardia Director Viktor Zolotov, SVR Director Sergei Naryshkin, Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin, and First Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Gorovoi. Peskov noted that the list of attendees may be subject to adjustments and pledged to provide updates if any changes occur.

The Russian presidential spokesman refrained from commenting on the potential measures against those involved in the Makhachkala events, urging patience until the meeting takes place.

On October 29, unrest erupted at Makhachkala airport following the arrival of a regular flight from Tel Aviv amid the escalating situation in the Middle East. Several hundred individuals entered the airport terminal and the airfield, eventually being removed by law enforcement officers. According to the latest information, more than 20 people sustained injuries, including police officers.
