Trade turnover between Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) totaled $8.9 billion for the first nine months of the year, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov said during a working meeting with the UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber.
“In 2023, trade turnover reached a record $10.2 billion. For the nine months of 2025, this figure has already reached $8.9 billion. We expect that by the end of the current year, the volume of mutual trade will again exceed the $10 billion mark,” the minister said.
As noted in the statement, the dynamics of trade and economic relations between the two countries show steady growth. A number of joint cooperation and investment projects are already being implemented in the areas of energy and food security, healthcare, education, transportation, logistics, and digital technologies.
