Rosatom Expands Educational Exports to BRICS Nations

02 April

Rosatom’s Corporate Academy is scaling up its efforts to share advanced educational practices in technology, digital development, and professional training across BRICS countries, according to the academy’s press service.

"Our work in the ‘BRICS Plus’ format is of strategic importance. Last year, at Rosatom’s initiative, a new nuclear energy platform was created to foster comprehensive cooperation among BRICS nations. The platform aims to develop and implement best practices for the peaceful use of nuclear technologies. <...> The memorandum of understanding will further enhance professional skills development, strengthen international partnerships, and promote competition-based training," said Academy Director General Yulia Uzhakina.

The memorandum was signed during the anniversary edition of the AtomSkills-2025 championship. Signatories included the academy, the International Alliance for Skills Development under China’s "Belt and Road" initiative, and BRICS representatives. The signing ceremony was also attended by Tatiana Terentyeva, Rosatom’s Deputy Director General for Human Resources.

This agreement will bolster the exchange of best practices and resources within BRICS-led educational programs, leveraging the bloc’s international platform to advance nuclear education and workforce training.
