Acting Chief of Staff of the Algerian Armed Forces Said Shengriha began an official visit to Moscow on Tuesday, during which he will visit the Victory Parade, the Algerian Defense Ministry said.
On June 24, the capital will host celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The central event will be the Victory Parade.
"Acting Head of the General Staff of the Algerian People's Army Said Shengriha began his visit to Moscow on June 23 at the invitation of Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu to attend the official events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War," the website of the Algerian Defense Ministry reports.
The Office notes that the visit will be an opportunity to discuss a number of issues of mutual importance for Algeria and Russia, and emphasizes the friendly relations between the countries.
