Aliyev Highlights Elevated Level of Russia-Azerbaijan Relations

06 March

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has noted that relations between Baku and Moscow have attained a qualitatively new level, as stated during his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We have maintained all the positive aspects that have united our peoples for decades, regardless of the socio-political contexts in which we engage. The friendly ties between our peoples have always been the cornerstone of our interstate relations. And today, as our interstate relations have advanced to a qualitatively new level in both form and substance, it is naturally supported by the public of our countries," Aliyev remarked.

He conveyed his optimism that, similar to the outcomes of 2023, the current year will yield positive outcomes within the framework of bilateral relations. "Our allied interaction will be fortified for the mutual benefit of our countries and peoples. This is also a crucial element of regional stability and security," Aliyev underscored.
