US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's latest statements speak of the United States' desire to "tear apart" the CIS countries from Russia, CIS Secretary-General Sergei Lebedev told TASS.
"Recent meetings and statements of the US secretary of state during his visits, by the way, to the countries of Central Asia also show a very great desire to split the CIS, to destroy the CIS, to tear the Commonwealth countries away from Russia," Lebedev said.
He added that the CIS is concerned about this fact. "In this regard, the Commonwealth countries are trying to consolidate their efforts in order to counteract this pressure," the CIS secretary-general noted.
