Security in Eastern Europe and all of Eurasia will depend on the outcome of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine and agreements on its results. CSTO Secretary-General Stanislav Zas said this on Monday at a meeting of the organization's Parliamentary Assembly in Moscow.
"The security situation of the entire Eastern European region and the Eurasian space in general, and probably the entire architecture of international security, will largely depend on the outcome of the special military operation and the peace agreements reached as a result of it," he said.
Zas noted that there has been a tremendous increase in tension in the Eastern European region. "Of course, there is a militarization of the entire region," stressed the CSTO secretary-general.
