Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that the agreements made with Russian President Vladimir Putin to send food through the grain corridor to the poorest countries remain valid.

"During our recent talks with Mr. Putin, he confirmed the agreements we have that the grain going through the Black Sea grain corridor will be processed into flour in our country and delivered to the poorest countries in Africa," he said during a speech in Ankara, which was broadcast by local TV channels.
