The United States, along with Israel, will face losses due to their opposition to the establishment of justice, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during a parliamentary address.
"Israel, with this sort of mindset, will not progress, even with the backing of the United States or the West. In fact, America will also suffer. The primary objective should be to establish a fair and equitable world, but it appears they are not inclined towards that. Justifying acts of aggression is a vestige of the West's violent past," emphasized the Turkish president.
According to Erdogan, non-regional countries involved in resolving the conflict between Israel and Palestine should "refrain from exacerbating the situation out of solidarity with Israel." He urged all nations with reason and conscience to exert pressure on the Netanyahu government to restore reason in Israel. Erdogan emphasized that continuing to support these events with a crusader mentality is unacceptable if we seek to create a peaceful planet.
The Turkish president also called for solidarity among Islamic nations, stating that the unity of Islamic countries would facilitate a ceasefire and eventually lead to lasting peace. He expressed the expectation that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, established in part to champion the Palestinian cause, would fulfill its historical mission in this instance.
