Expert: Majority of Africans Back Putin in Advocacy for Multipolar World

18 March

Africans overwhelmingly support Russian President Vladimir Putin in his endeavor to promote a multipolar world. Xavier Messe a Tiati, Director-General of the Cameroon News Agency, shared insights with a TASS correspondent regarding Africa's reaction to the outcomes of the Russian presidential election.

"We in Africa closely followed the Russian presidential election," - he remarked. - "This was facilitated by reports from the TASS feed, which our media greatly valued. Among the four candidates, it is President Putin who displays interest in Africa and the establishment of a multipolar world. This stance contrasts with the Western agenda of imposing its perspective globally. As a collective, Africans stand behind Putin in this endeavor."

"Initially, the turnout in the Russian presidential election was 61.73%, then surged to 74%," - noted the expert. - "It may even exceed this figure. Such robust engagement by Russian voters indicates their profound involvement in these elections."
