The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) must make the right decisions in response to the US hybrid wars against sovereign states. Chairman of the Majlis of the Islamic Council of Iran's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Vahid Jalalzadeh said this on Monday at a meeting of the organization's Parliamentary Assembly in Moscow.
"The double standards of the Americans on various issues of the international agenda against sovereign states as well as hybrid new wars against various countries are the most important issues that should be discussed at the Parliamentary Assembly. Correct decisions must be made accordingly," he said.
Iran, according to the parliamentarian, has become one of the victims of US double standards. Countries should not give up on sovereign development, Jalalzadeh stressed. "Iran is ready to develop bilateral and friendly relations based on mutual interests and is ready to develop contacts with its neighbors and in the CSTO," he pointed out.
