The remaining unresolved issues in talks with the US on restoring the nuclear deal are not limited to one matter, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Saeed Khatibzadeh told a news conference on Monday.
"What remains unresolved between us and the United States is not at all limited to one topic," he said. - "Some parties are trying to hide other contradictions and emphasize only one issue."
Earlier, some Western mass media published information that in order to reach an agreement on the nuclear deal Iran was ready to give up one of its main demands - to exclude the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite Iranian Armed Forces) from the list of the terrorist organizations recognized by Washington.
On May 25, the US Special Representative for Iran Robert Malley stated that at the present moment, the probability of the failure of the negotiations with Tehran about returning to the full observance of the nuclear deal provisions is higher than the chance of achieving the success in the dialog. On June 8, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that Tehran had presented Washington with a new package of proposals to restore the deal.
