Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a telephone conversation on Tuesday discussed the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran's nuclear program (JCPOA) in the context of negotiations in Vienna.
"They discussed developments around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program in the context of the ongoing negotiations in Vienna to restore full implementation of the nuclear deal. The ministers spoke in favor of the early reanimation of the JCPOA in its originally balanced configuration approved by the UN Security Council," the Russian MFA said in a statement.
