Lukashenko and Putin discussed the situation in Belarus

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the leaders discussed the situation in Belarus, BelTA reports on Monday.


"The presidents discussed the situation inside our country and on the external circuit, especially in the Western direction," the report said.

 

 

In addition, the parties agreed that Belarus would be the first country to receive a Russian coronavirus vaccine. "The heads of state discussed the fight against the coronavirus. In this regard, the presidents agreed that Belarusian citizens would voluntarily participate in the third stage of testing of a coronavirus vaccine produced in the Russian Federation. Belarus will also be the first country to receive this vaccine, " BelTA reports.


To date, the leaders of the two countries - Putin and Lukashenko-have already discussed the situation in the Republic four times. In addition, the Russian President discussed the situation in the country with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and head of the European Council Charles Michel.
