Matviyenko Asserts: No One Will Succeed in Driving a Wedge Between Russia and Central Asian Countries

16 November 2023

The United States and Europe are attempting to create divisions between Russia and Central Asian countries, but such efforts would not succeed. Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko made these remarks during a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov on the sidelines of the fall session of the CIS IPA.

"We are well aware that both America and Europe are trying to drive a wedge between Russia and the Central Asian states and are making great efforts to do so. But I think no one will succeed in doing this because we are connected by many things that we cherish," stated the speaker of the FC.
