The delegation, which included Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Grigory Karasin, and FSB adviser Sergey Beseda, was praised for its deep diplomatic experience and nuanced understanding of the conflict’s complexities.
Analysts interviewed by the publication described the parallel discussions on normalizing Russia-US relations and finding a path toward Ukrainian conflict resolution as “a major achievement of Russian diplomacy.”
