Two residential buildings were destroyed in a recent airstrike by Israeli forces on the outskirts of Lebanon's capital, Beirut,  Al-Qahira Al-Ikhbariya reports.

According to representatives from Beirut's civil defense, quoted by the TV channel, “rescue teams were dispatched to the site of the missile strike, where two residential buildings were destroyed due to the explosions.”

Rescue operations have begun to search for people who may be trapped under the rubble.

Not long ago, Lebanon’s acting Health Minister, Firas Abiad, confirmed that at least three people were killed and 17 others injured in the Israeli Air Force strike on the southern suburb of Beirut, Dahieh. He noted that the death toll could rise, as several people have been taken to hospitals in critical condition.
