Mufti Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, congratulated the Russians on Russia Day, a message published on the website of the organization reads.

"My dear fellow citizens!

On behalf of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Russia Muftis Council and myself, I cordially congratulate you on Russia Day! The Almighty has given us the honor of being citizens of a state that unites almost two hundred peoples in vast areas from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, a power that defeated fascism and liberated the whole of Europe, a country that affirms the values of good-neighborliness and mutual respect between religions and communities. On this day-June 12-we pray for the prosperity of our Fatherland, for overcoming all challenges, and for strengthening our unity and solidarity. Many states became the foundation of modern Russia, and many peoples participated in the formation and development of Russia, as we know it. May Allah grant that in the future the history of Russia will be the history of our joint victories and achievements!", Gainutdin said.
