We are bringing Russia closer to the Islamic world in the name of peace, in the name of a global policy to preserve the national traditions of all peoples, said mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Russian Muftis Council (RMC) during an interview with the "Tatarstan Today . Open to the world."

In a conversation with the authors of the program, the Spiritual leader of Muslims of Russia spoke about the key importance of state policy aimed at bringing Russia closer to the Islamic world, and about the important contribution of the RMC and the Religious Board of the Russian Federation to strengthening these relations.

"Our policy should be understood and accepted in the Islamic world, and this policy, which is being pursued by the President of Russia, should be respected in the Islamic world. And when there are respect and trust in our country and state policy, then the task will be clear to everyone else. Here we are bringing Russia closer to the Islamic world in the name of a global policy to preserve the national traditions of all peoples... What Russia is promoting is accepted in the Muslim world" said in particular religious figure.

According to Gainutdin, Russia, being a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, should have good relations with the Arab countries.

"Because there are very rich countries in the Arab world that can come to Russia with investments that can offer Russia to come to them and develop business there. There are still the poorest countries of the Islamic world, and we need to take care of them,"he added.
