Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared mourning for the victims of the clashes that took place in Jenin in the West Bank, WAFA reported on Thursday.
According to WAFA, Abbas' decree said that Palestinian flags must be lowered everywhere for the next three days.
On Thursday, the Israeli military entered the town of Jenin and the refugee camp. Al Mayadeen TV noted that this large-scale raid by Israeli forces is the first operation of its kind in several years. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 11 Arabs were killed in the Jenin clashes and about 20 were wounded, four of whom are in critical condition.
