Israel has shown no desire to halt military actions in Gaza or to pursue a peace agreement with Palestine, according to Varsen Aghabekian, Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
“There is no one in Israel advocating for peace. Neither the right, center, nor left are prepared for peace,” she said in an interview with the Emirati publication The National.
Aghabekian also claimed that the Israeli authorities offer "only pessimism and chaos," providing "not even the slightest hope for a resolution." She believes that the war will only end when the international community declares that enough is enough and stops treating Israel as a state "above the law."
