President of Uzbekistan to Visit Russia October 5-7

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Russia on October 5, during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This information was conveyed by the press service of the Uzbek leader.

 

"At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Russia from October 5 to 7. As per the visit's agenda, the two state leaders will meet in Moscow, and the head of Uzbekistan will also hold a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin," the statement on the Uzbek leader's website reads.

 

 

The upcoming meetings will focus on enhancing bilateral relations in the context of strategic partnership and alliance. Key areas of discussion will include the expansion of practical cooperation, with a primary focus on trade, economic, investment, migration, and humanitarian spheres, as reported by Mirziyoyev's press service.

 

Additionally, the official visit program for the Uzbek president includes a visit to Tatarstan, where he will meet with Rustam Minnikhanov, the head of the republic.
