Prime Minister Mishustin Congratulates Russian Muslims on Uraza Bayram

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has extended his congratulations to Russian Muslims on the holiday of Uraza Bayram, highlighting the significant role the Muslim Ummah plays in maintaining interfaith dialogue and contributing to peace and harmony.

 

"Please accept my congratulations on Uraza Bayram - one of the most significant religious holidays in Islam. It is a source of spiritual perfection, fills the hearts of millions of believers with love for their close ones, sincere desire to do good deeds, show mercy and compassion to those who need help and care," Mishustin said in a message published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

 

"The Muslim Ummah makes a great contribution to maintaining interfaith dialogue, contributes to the preservation of inter-ethnic peace and harmony, takes an active part in the implementation of social programs and charitable projects," the prime minister's congratulatory message reads.

 

Mishustin emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with public authorities and organizations, as well as strengthening traditional family values and patriotic education of the younger generation.

 

"I sincerely wish you and all Russian Muslims good health, prosperity and all the best," the head of the government concluded.
