Russian President Vladimir Putin has conveyed his condolences to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad over the terrorist attack on a military school in Homs, which resulted in the tragic loss of 89 lives.
"We strongly condemn this brutal crime, which has tragically claimed the lives of many women and children. We trust that those responsible for organizing this heinous act will face the punishment they deserve. We remain committed to working closely with our Syrian partners in the ongoing fight against all forms of terrorism," expressed the Russian leader in a condolence telegram, published on the Kremlin website.
Putin requested al-Assad to convey his heartfelt sympathy and support to the families of the victims, along with his hopes for a swift recovery to all those who were injured.
