Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the effectiveness of cooperation between Moscow and Riyadh in the framework of OPEC+. On Tuesday, the Russian leader received foreign ambassadors with credentials in the Kremlin.
"Russia and Saudi Arabia interact effectively in the format of OPEC+, making a joint contribution to the stability of global energy markets," Putin said, thanking the leadership of the kingdom for this.
According to him, relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia are developing on an increasing scale. "Recently, they have acquired a broad, complex character, which was facilitated by agreements following our state visit to Riyadh in October 2019," he added.
Putin congratulated Saudi Arabia on the success of the G20 Summit. "We understand how difficult it was, but we will continue to work closely to implement our decisions," he assured.
