Putin Offers Condolences to Erdogan Following Ski Resort Fire

Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the devastating fire at a ski resort in Bolu Province. The message of condolence was published on the Kremlin's official website.

 

"Dear Mr. President, please accept my heartfelt condolences regarding the tragic consequences of the fire at the ski resort in Bolu Province. I ask you to convey my words of sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as my wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured," the message read.

 

Turkey's Minister of the Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, reported that the fire claimed 66 lives and injured 51 people. At the time of the fire, there were 238 guests staying at the hotel.

 

Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu further stated that of the 51 injured, one person remains in critical condition in intensive care, while 17 Turkish citizens have already been discharged from the hospital.
