Putin: Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian agreements on Karabakh are being implemented consistently

The trilateral statement on Nagorno-Karabakh signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in November 2020 is being consistently implemented. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking by video link on Wednesday at the "Davos week."

According to him, Moscow has made active mediation efforts to stop the armed conflict in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. "As you know, a trilateral statement by Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia was signed in November. It is important that by and large it is being implemented consistently," stressed the Russian leader. - "We managed to stop the bloodshed, and this is the most important thing, to achieve a complete ceasefire and begin the process of stabilization."


"Now the international community is faced with the task of helping the affected areas, in solving humanitarian problems related to the return of refugees, the reconstruction of destroyed infrastructure, the protection and restoration of historical, religious and cultural monuments," the President added.
