Russian and Kyrgyz Presidents Vladimir Putin and Sadyr Zhaparov will hold talks in Moscow on May 8 and discuss strengthening the strategic partnership, as well as the presidency of Russia in the EEU and Kyrgyzstan in the CIS. The Kremlin press service announced this on Friday.
According to the statement, the two leaders plan to discuss "topical issues of further strengthening the Russian-Kyrgyz relations of strategic partnership and alliance, in particular, taking into account the presidency of Russia in 2023 in the Eurasian Economic Union and Kyrgyzstan in the CIS.
On May 8, Zhaparov will pay a two-day visit to Moscow. On that day, he will have talks with the Russian head of state. On May 9, as the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported in late April, he will visit the Victory Parade on Red Square as a guest of honor.
