Putin's article gains wide circulation on African continent, confirms Peskov

The article penned by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the eve of the second Russia-Africa summit has garnered significant traction across the African continent, being widely published in major media outlets. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, confirmed this development to journalists.

 

Peskov highlighted that Putin's article, published on July 24, reached prominent media outlets in numerous African countries, including Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea, Mauritius, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Namibia, Seychelles, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.

 

The Kremlin spokesman also stated that there is a possibility of the article being published in other African nations in the coming days, pending confirmation. Overall, the publication has achieved widespread dissemination across the African continent.

 

 

In his article, President Putin delved into the historical relations between the USSR, Russia, and African countries, underscoring Moscow's commitment to supporting African nations in their quest for liberation from colonial oppression. He emphasized the significance of the present-day partnership between Russia and Africa, especially in the context of shaping a more equitable and multipolar world order.

 

Putin's article also touched upon various aspects of cooperation, such as personnel training, humanitarian efforts, cultural exchanges, sports and media collaboration, as well as the development of relations with the African Union and other regional integration organizations.

 

The upcoming Russia-Africa summit, scheduled for July 27-28, is anticipated to be a crucial and representative event, further cementing the bonds of cooperation and friendship between Russia and African nations.
