Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech at Thursday's Valdai plenary session will be extensive, and there is also a discussion planned, presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
"In the evening, the president will prepare for the meeting of the Valdai Club, which will hold its big session tomorrow in the Moscow region. The president will make a speech, it will be extensive, there will be a discussion," Peskov said.
"Of course, [the president] will answer participants' questions, traditionally, you will see and hear it all live," the Kremlin spokesperson explained.
He added that Fyodor Lukyanov, a journalist, political scientist, and director of research at Valdai, will moderate the discussion.
"Tomorrow will be an interesting event. <...> It promises to be a very, very important event, so we are looking forward to it," Peskov concluded.
